Aloha! I'm So Happy You're Here

I'm Emily and the owner of Emily Skiba Photography since 2018. My passion for photography makes it feel as though not a single day I'm shooting is work, but FUN! Most of my work that you see is outdoors as I love using the natural light in our surroundings. I specialize in Portrait & Wedding Photography. Working with couples and families is so rewarding and I adore getting to know new people! Seeing clients truly stoked with the memories after capturing such special moments is so gratifying. I love seeing people express themselves with their own unique style. I'm dedicated to understanding & meeting my clients needs, preferences, and vision for their photography sessions.

I'm from a small quaint town in Northern Michigan but have always loved exploring new places. This curiosity has taken me to far parts of the world, living in Maui, Hawaii for the last 7 years, and New Zealand prior to that. Exploring new places, & cultures has influenced my passion for photography as I've always wanted to tell a story through my photos. You'll find me spending most of my time out in nature surfing, camping, free diving, gardening, or even for just a quiet walk in the woods. When the editing is complete, I enjoy cooking healthy meals, biking, and hanging with my husband & three adorable bunnies (George, Gypsy, & Harriet).
